Finishing Some Unfinished Projects

I had a very productive day today just spending time finishing off some of the projects which we started at the Brisbane Heartfelt Event in November.

It was just nice to be able to create something non Christmas and to have all the instructions to follow so that there was not a lot of thinking involved.

However, I must have relaxed a bit too much as one of the projects needed a vellum envelope to be created for the cards - but as I don't own the Scoring Tool (yet) - still on my wish list - I didn't quite get my dimensions correct - so no envelope for me.  They still look cute tied up with the Baker's Twine though.

So here are the finished projects.  I am loving the Clockworks Stamp Set and the gorgeous colour combination chosen by Stampin'Up! of Basic Grey, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, More Mustard, Gumball Green, Very Vanilla.

There were four projects included.  These being:

6" x 6" Scrapbook Layout
"One in a Million" Notebook
Clockworks Note Cards (Should have had a vellum envelope)
Two Tags Box with Notecards

Merry Christmas

Well it has been a very big year for me, particularly the last few months where I have been attending a lot of markets, fetes, fundraisers and craft shows.  I would like to thank everyone who visited me at these events and supported my little business.  I am looking forward to another great year  in 2013 and would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year.

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
 FROM TRACEY'S PAPERCRAFT CREATIONS

Decorated Gift Bags

I recently found some of these cute little brown paper bags in my stash of goodies - it's amazing what you find that you have totally forgotten you had.  Anyway, I decided to decorate them up as Christmas Gift Bags.  I am really pleased with the way they turned out.

I just used various bits and pieces that I had left over from all the crafting I have been doing over the last few months for the markets etc that I have been attending.

I think I shall be making more of these in the future.

Supplies used:  Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso Cardstock, Glimmer Paper, Seam Binding, Ribbons, Various DSP,  Snow Flurry Die, Doily Die

Gingerbread Men

I am loving the cute little Gingerbread Man from the Scentsational Season Stamp Set.  It makes creating these cards and cash/gift card wallets so easy, especially when they have matching framelit dies.  For even greater value you can purchase the Scentsational Season Bundle (Stamp Set and Holiday Collection Framelit Dies) and save  15%.   Also, just a little hint, I have been creating the little santa hats by using the bird's wing from the Bird Builder Punch.  So much easier than cutting them all by hand.

I Have Gone Santa Crazy

I have been creating lots of cute little punch art Santas for various projects for the markets.

Here they have been made into Christmas cards and I have also attached them as toppers for the lollies.

All you need are a few punches and you too can create these little cuties

The punches I have used are:  Ornament (Beard), Extra-Large Oval (Head and Hat), Large Oval (Pink Face), Bird Builder (Moustache), Itty Bitty Shapes Circle (Nose, Mouth, Eyes and Pom Pom).

Don't forget that Stampin'Up! also has these great little Cellophane Treat Bags in their Annual Catalogue.  Perfect for all sorts of goodies.  These ones I have filled with M & M's.  I have also filled some with White Snow Balls (Snowman's Poop) and Chocolate Bullets (Reindeer Poop) making great stocking fillers for the kids this Christmas.

A Basketful of ???

Well I have been so busy creating more Christmas Goodies for the next couple of markets that I will be holding a stall at.  Here is a little preview of a basketful of .............. (what do you think they are?)

If you guessed "Lindt Chocolate Sliders" then you would be correct.  There are 24 here all ready to be filled with their yummy Lindt Chocolate.  Now to get them filled without eating any of the chocolate myself will be the hard part.

My wonderful upline taught me how to make these chocolate sliders a few years back and they have proved to be very popular as little gifts.  I have given these as teacher and sport coaches gifts etc for the last few years.

Christmas Baubles - the Stampin'Up! Way

I just wanted to share with you the gorgeous little Christmas Baubles that I have created from polystyrene balls, our brown packing paper which we get in every order from Stampin'Up!,  some cardstock, glimmer paper and a bit of white ink.

What do you think?  Are they cute or are they cute?

I saw these gorgeous little baubles on display at the recent Stampin'Up! Heartfelt Event and we were also shown how they were basically created in one of the demonstrations on the day.

I fell in love with them and knew that I would be trying to create some of these little beauties this year for Christmas.  Stampin'Up! had also created large ones as well.  They aren't exactly the same as the ones created by Stampin'Up! but I am really happy with the way they turned out.

I have created two different colours - one has Champagne Glimmer Paper, Crumb Cake Cardstock and Pearls and the other has Silver Glimmer Paper, White Cardstock and Pearls.

I must say my photo does not do them justice.

If anyone would like one I still have a couple for sale.  They are $4 each.

Supplies used:  SU Brown Packing Paper, Cardstock - White, Crumb Cake, Glimmer Paper - Champagne, Silver, Ink - Craft White, Miscellaneous ribbon, silver string, string and pearls, Die Snow Flurry.

Gold Coast Potters Association Market

I had the most fabulous day out at the Gold Coast Potters Association Arts & Craft Market last Sunday.  There were so many talented crafters there and I met a lot of very friendly people.  I really enjoyed my day there and sold out of quite a few of my Christmas goodies.  My mum came along and helped out in the stall (thanks mum) and I also had a friend (also Tracey) with me selling her beautiful handmade jewellery.  Here are a couple of photos of my side of the stall, the jewellery side of the stall and a photo of Tracey and I just before opening.  Thank you so much Gold Coast Potters Association for a wonderful day.

Wow - Christmas Is Almost Here

I can't believe that today is the 1st December and Christmas is only 25 days away.  Oh dear, I have forgotten all about the advent calendar this year.  It is still packed away in its box.  Also the first day of summer and boy it is another hot one here.
